Calem Maroon-Hood
Red Riding Rockstar
"Stay on the path" was a piece of advice that Calem heard repeatedly from his grandmother. However, what if you wanted to explore multiple paths simultaneously? Calem was never one to commit to just one choice in life. During high school, he juggled multiple part-time jobs, not out of financial necessity, but to make the most of his free time between classes. His insatiable curiosity for trying new things enriched his life with a wealth of experiences.
From the precision of a single bullet finding its mark to the melodious strings of his guitar setting the stage on fire at a Saturday night club concert.
Upon graduating from school, many assumed that Calem would follow in his father's footsteps and become a heroic police officer. After all, his father was none other than the illustrious Colten Maroon, renowned for rescuing hostages and apprehending criminals. However, Calem had an intimate understanding of his father's profession, which led him to choose a different path – Prologia's Military Force, where he honed his skills as a marksman.
As part of the comprehensive restructuring of security and law enforcement initiated by Prologia's High Council, Calem was reassigned to Precinct 1, where he played a pivotal role in forming a new task force. In his leisure hours, Calem indulged his passion for music by performing in a band he co-founded with former military comrades.
Relationships
Colten Maroon
The former chief of Precinct 1, who held his position before Elijah Antaios assumed command, was an imposing figure. Despite the aura of intimidation that clung to him, a seemingly requisite quality for such a role, the officers under his command held deep respect for this individual. However, nobody could have imagined that the man often referred to as the "Big Bad Wolf" by criminals and even some of his own officers had the capacity to be a father. Yet, one day, a small boy clung to Colten's big, fluffy tail, and little Calem became a familiar presence in the office. He would often stay in the precinct's day care or be looked after by either Madame Woole or his "big brother" Danyal.
Before Calem's grandmother moved to Prologia, to help raising him, Colten's wife had left him due to a divorce and embarked on a journey to explore the world.

When it came to Calem's career choice, Colten secretly hoped his son would not follow in his footsteps. Perhaps it was because he still harbored a tinge of regret for exposing him to the perils of the criminal world during his childhood.
Emanuel Van Redfo
Calem and Emanuel met in the courthouse of Prologia. His father had to testify in a trial and so was Emanuels big brother Chase, who back then was working in Precinct 1. Seated next to each other the two teenagers witnessed an exciting battle in court. Ever since then they've hanged out together after school or in the Precinct when visiting their respective family member.
Even after they graduated and Calem left city to join Prologias Military, they stayed in touch.
Cherry Hood
Calem's grandmother is a stern, determined woman who is unwavering in her commitment to seeing her grandson succeed. In stark contrast to her son, she consistently supports and encourages Calem in all his endeavors. She often nags Colten, urging him to return to the police force despite his reluctance, believing that his presence and example could serve as a great source of inspiration and guidance for his son.
P.A.C.K
Calem's band composed of his former comrades from his time in a military camp.
The lineup includes Phobos on bass, Amir on guitar, Calem on lead vocals and guitar, and Keane on the drums. The band, known as P.A.C.K., was initially formed for fun, and Calem and his friends collaborated on songwriting together.
At the outset, Amir and Phobos often spent their time bullying and teasing Calem. However, their relationship took a turn for the better after they worked together on a practical assignment, eventually becoming close friends. The military camp where they trained was situated quite far from Prologia's Precinct.
While Calem enjoyed his time in the military camp, he couldn't help but miss his father dearly. During this period, he formed a strong bond with his cousin, Kaiden, whom he spent many nights together with.
Rico Piper
When P.A.C.K had an upcoming gig scheduled at the Godmother's Salon, Inspector Tim Greyson from Precinct 2 happened to be there, conducting interrogations with the staff regarding a case that had occurred a couple of weeks prior. Alongside him was a teenager, whom the Inspector sternly instructed to either sit still or return to the car. However, the young man chose to stay, drawn by the band's equipment, and ended up listening to their practice session.
After the final song, the boy approached Calem and introduced himself as Rico Piper. To Calem's surprise, Rico delivered the harshest critique he had ever received. Nevertheless, Rico began attending nearly every one of Calem's concerts and evolved into something of a dedicated fan.
I love these brothers.
